Legislation not ready yet.
On the 5th October 2023, the Ministry of Environment in Denmark announced that the entry into force of the extended producer responsibility for packaging in Denmark is postponed probably until July 1st 2025.
The decision consequently deferrs the deadlines that were orginanly to be met in the first quarter of 2024:
- producer registration in the central producer register (DPA-System)
- selection of a packaging collective scheme
- reporting of expected marketed amounts of packaging for the entire year 2024
A new final deadline has not been communicated.
